15 July 2020– Nineteen (19) new COVID-19 cases were recognized out of 2423 samples evaluated today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to one thousand, 4 hundred and thirty-five (1435). To date, seven hundred and seventy-two (752) clients have recuperated and been discharged, including fifteen (15) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is 6 hundred and seventy-nine (679) and four (4) deaths.
The brand-new cases are from Nyamasheke (12) testing in cells under lockdown, Kigali (3 ), Nyamagabe (2 ), and Rusizi (2 ), Kirehe( 1 ); heightened caution is required all over. All active cases are in seclusion in steady condition.
The COVID-19 avoidance measures announced by the Federal government of Rwanda need to continue to be rigorously observed, specifically frequent hand-washing and physical distancing. In addition, face masks need to be worn in public and multi-family substances.
Withholding info related to call tracing or COVID-19 signs, jeopardises public security and will be penalized in accordance with appropriate laws.
