I’m Korean. And everyone should know that a lot of medics are even now struggling with this virus. We could have made things better with their effort, too.
It feels kind of weird actually. I'm very impressed with how well my country has been able to deal with this latest outbreak. :)Children are actually going back to school. I went back to school for the first day just today ( i go to an international school). It was pretty fascinating. We had to wear masks all the time and wipe down the desks after very class. We had to wash our hands after the end of every class and hand sanitize 24/7. The stairwells were divided into one that was for going up and one for going down and the desks were rearranged so that we had to stay at least 2m apart at all times.I'm grateful to be living in Korea at this time.
Korea is successful but most countries don't have a huge medical infrastructure to mobilize. I think Japan is a better model for many countries to follow. Japan, tiny testing capacity, small hospital capacity, huge senior population, yet under 900 deaths even with with a dense population of 127 million. Japan = close schools, ventilate, social distancing, masks, sanitation and be thoughtful of others. Japan might see a spike but so has Korea and anywhere else that is opening. Testing and tracing is only one small part of a good covid19 plan.
Here’s the lesson: Don’t vote Trump.
In a town I live in we had 3 cases of coronavirus but they recovered and nobody heard of anymore cases YET
notice how all the countries that test aggressively are all part of the four asian tigers?
We at Kerala(southern side of India) also had a near outbreak situation of Nipah virus a few year back and thank god for that we were also prepared in advance.
Its like you died at a game level then you restart again but you know how to do it, Great job😎👌🏻
