The IDF Medical Corps’ coronavirus laboratory was developed in March after the IDF transformed its DNA testing laboratory for recognizing fallen soldiers into a coronavirus screening lab within 4 days.
” This action is a substantial contribution to the Medical Corps’ ability of offering help to IDF personnel throughout this pandemic, as well as to the general abilities of the IDF,” the chief IDF medical officer Brig.-Gen.
” The benefits of the IDF lab don’t only manifest in its sophisticated technology but very first and primary in its human capital,” commander of the IDF lab Dr. Noam Porter stated.
