A male charged with rape and later launched on bond over coronavirus fears presumably shot and eliminated his accuser recently in Virginia.
Ibrahim E. Bouaichi, 33, was arraigned on charges of rape, strangulation, and abduction and imprisoned without bond following victim Karla Dominguez’s testament in court in December, according to the Washington Post
The report continued:
Then the coronavirus pandemic hit.
In their movement for bond, the suspect’s attorneys said “social distancing and appropriate sanitizing measures are impossible while put behind bars … Simply put, the threat of contracting Covid-19 in a prison is exceptionally obvious.”
Regardless of the order for him to stay at house, Bouaichi presumably went back to Dominguez’s apartment or condo and shot and eliminated her on July 29.
In a press release Wednesday, the Alexandria Authorities Department revealed the suspect had actually been apprehended:
At around 11 a.m. today, Alexandria authorities officers attached to the FBI’s local Violent Criminal offenses Job Force observed Bouaichi in Maryland and initiated a lorry pursuit that ended soon thereafter when Bouaichi’s car crashed in Prince George’s County.
A GoFundMe account was later set up to help pay for Dominguez’s funeral expenses and has up until now raised $5,035 of its $7,000 goal.
